JUST LOOOK (Pty) Ltd ("JUST LOOOK", "we", "us") is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 ("POPIA") and other applicable laws.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, phone number, company name and role.
- Billing information: billing address and tokenised payment details (we do not store full card numbers — payments are handled by Paystack).
- Campaign data: creative assets you upload, schedules, target screens and delivery reports.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, cookies and product usage logs.
- Communications: records of support requests and email correspondence with us.
2. How we use your information
- To create and manage your account and provide the Service.
- To process bookings, payments, refunds and payouts.
- To deliver, schedule and report on your campaigns.
- To send transactional notifications (e.g. booking confirmations, receipts).
- To provide customer support and respond to enquiries.
- To improve, secure and develop the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal basis
We process your personal information on the basis of (a) the performance of our contract with you; (b) your consent (which you may withdraw at any time); (c) our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service; and (d) compliance with legal obligations.
4. Sharing your information
We share personal information only as needed and with these categories of recipients:
- Screen owners — limited campaign details (advertiser name, company and creative) so they can review and play your campaign.
- Service providers — including Google Cloud / Firebase (hosting and database), Paystack (payments) and Amazon SES (transactional email).
- Authorities — where required by law or to protect our rights.
We never sell your personal information.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers process data outside South Africa. Where this happens we rely on providers that offer adequate levels of protection, including standard contractual clauses, in line with POPIA.
6. Retention
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active and thereafter for as long as is reasonably necessary to comply with legal, accounting or reporting obligations.
7. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, role-based access controls and audit logging — to protect personal information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your information.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
9. Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, and a small number of analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
10. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-product notice.
